I am so excited to be back in 3rd grade at Hallettsville Elementary. I have previously taught 4 years in 4th grade in Georgetown, Texas, 2 years in 3rd grade at HES, and 1 year in 2nd grade at HES. I became the reading intervention teacher in 2013 and was in that position until 2017. I am super excited to be back to 3rd grade this year. I know it will be a great year where we will all learn and grow together!
I am a the proud mother of 3 children. Alli (10), who is in 5th grade, and Colton (8) in 3rd grade, and Landon (3) which attends Little Sprouts 3K program. All of my children are true Brahmas and love HISD.
One trait about me that you will begin to learn is that I love change and I love to try new things. I am always researching new practices to use in my classroom and to teach other teachers. I have my master's degree in educational leadership as well and I look forward to one day being a principal of an amazing school. I look forward to many years with Hallettsville ISD in education, administration and curriculum.
I encourage parents to be involved in the schools and with their children's education. We hope to see you on campus a lot and hope you can help us out when we are looking for volunteers.
